Introduction to Road Biking

The purpose of my blog is to get people interested in Road Biking. I will try to make people realize how easy it, and how fun it is, to get into Road Biking.  I will go over all the information that you need to know to start being active in this healthy hobby. I will teach people things like How to Change a Road Bike Tire, the differences between Road Biking and Mountain Biking and how to choose a Cheap Starter Road Bike. Along with being healthy, Road Biking can also be used as a means of transportation. With gas prices on the rise, more and more people are using Road Bikes to commute to work everyday! Although it may seem like you would never be in good enough shape to hop on a Road Bike and pump out 30 miles, it is easier then you think. The hardest part is getting started, believe me. If you are willing to build up your endurance and fitness over time, before you know it 30 miles will seem like a walk in the park. About a year and a half after I started Road Biking I decided to get into Tours. The longest Road Biking Tour I've ever done was 220 miles in two days. From Big Sur, California to where I live in Santa Barbara.  If you started Road Biking TOMORROW, you could be Touring your state in a year or two. Bookmark my website. Within a few weeks I will have lots more information on Road Biking, the different kinda of Road Bikes, Fitting your Road Bike to your body, and Much Much More!

Lastly I want to finish off with a quote from Lance Armstrong:

“Winning is about heart, not just legs. It's got to be in the right place.”

...Do you have the heart to get started?
